She's fairly private about her journal entries (though some of what's in it will obviously get around if it's a big enough or noticeable enough occurrance, or someone says something about it).]]

Callidus, a name synonymous with class, elegance, and more than a little debauched decadence. It's said that the wealthy branch of mostly-Slytherins (when they don't throw Squibs these days due to that little thing called INBREEDING) have as much arrogance as they do wealth and cunning.

All of which isn't half as visible in Tambrey or her family as it might be expected. Though born at the ancestral manse on Valentine's Day 1961, she doesn't seem aware of her status, most likely attributed to her dad's black sheep status amongst the Callidus, and because of her Unspeakable mother, a graduate of Gryffindor herself. Reginald is the head of Callidus Industries, and Dianne Callidus (nee Winters) works in the Department of Mysteries. Tambrey was the second born, and her older brother William is married with two children of his own - older than her by at least a decade, and working in the Ministry's Department of International Magical Cooperation area to help with his father's trading business and to keep it on the level. Dianne keeps the dark magical and blacklisted items from the shipments, making it very much a family business. Tambrey's younger sister Sorcha is in Hogwarts, two years younger than she is.

Tambrey's first year at Hogwarts showed her brains: she simply didn't make many failing, poor grades. Things came to a boiling point in 1976, when Tambrey turned 15: her parents filed for divorce. The two families were immediately upon the couple, hindering the legal processes so that they couldn't make it official because of social mores. Tambrey has been wounded by the occurrence, but it hasn't dampened her spirits completely. She spends her time studying for her OWLs, practicing her Latin, and flying whenever she gets the chance, dreaming of her future. Her parents have made sure that she and her sister have always been well-loved and supported no matter what's happened. Her fascination, other than in flying and Quidditch, is in DADA, Potions, Transfiguration, and Charms. In her Third Year, she chose Ancient Runes and Care of Magical Creatures so that she would be prepared to handle animals, Cursebreak, or teach DADA at Hogwarts one day.
